Description
Heritage from Jingmai Mountain
Sourced from the renowned Jingmai Mountain in Yunnan, this black tea is crafted from ancient tea trees over a century old. These trees thrive in untouched forest ecosystems, drawing deep nutrients from the earth to produce leaves of exceptional character and purity.
Sun-Dried Shaihong Craftsmanship
Unlike conventional black teas that rely on roasting, this tea is processed using the traditional sun-dried (Shaihong) method. Natural sunlight gently dries the leaves, preserving their original essence and resulting in a cleaner, more refined aroma.
Elegant and Evolving Flavor
The taste unfolds slowly, offering a soft, lingering sweetness that develops moments after each sip. Instead of bold or malty intensity, it delivers delicate floral and honeyed notes with a smooth, calming finish that invites mindful enjoyment.
Refined Leaf Quality
Harvested in April 2024, the tea features a premium “one bud, two leaves” grade. The leaves are thick, resilient, and rich in natural compounds, allowing for multiple infusions with consistent flavor and aromatic depth.
Brewing Guidance
For optimal results, use water at 212°F (100°C) with a ratio of 1g tea per 25ml of water. Steep for 20 seconds during the first three infusions, adding 5 seconds with each subsequent brew. A white porcelain gaiwan is recommended to fully appreciate its clarity and aroma.

Storage Recommendations
Store the tea in a sealed, dry container away from light and strong odors. For extended freshness, keep it in a cool environment. Best enjoyed within two years to experience its peak flavor.
The Value of Ancient Tea Trees
Ancient tea trees, often exceeding 100 years in age, produce leaves with greater complexity and endurance. Their deep-root systems enrich the tea with minerals and layered flavors, making each infusion nuanced and long-lasting. As part of Yunnan’s protected tea heritage, this tea offers both authenticity and a connection to tradition.
